Helen is a British playwright and theatre maker. She has a Masters in Text and Performance from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), London. In 2013 she spent a year on attachment with the Traverse, Scotland’s new writing theatre. Since then her work has been selected for development by BBC Writer’s Room and performed at The Lyric Hammersmith and White Bear (London), The Traverse and in association with the National Theatre of Scotland. In 2016 her interactive piece Birdwatching was programmed at the RADA Festival, London. She is co-director of Scotland’s Village Pub Theatre, a new writing collective that specialises in presenting brand new, short pieces in non-conventional performance spaces.
