Shrayana Bhattacharya

Shrayana Bhattacharya is a Senior Economist at the World Bank’s Social Protection and Jobs Practice, focused on issues related to social policy and jobs. She trained in development economics at Delhi University and Harvard University. Her first book Desperately Seeking Shah Rukh: India’s Lonely Young Women and the Search for Intimacy and Independence was published by HarperCollins India in November 2021.
